Rama is a LEED-accredited professional with over 20 years of experience in architectural design and historic preservation in Mumbai and New York City. Trained as a technical architect with a focus on sustainability and historic building construction, she brings deep expertise in building pathology, material deterioration, and the application of appropriate preservation treatments.

 

Her work spans the investigation, evaluation, and construction administration of both historic and contemporary buildings, with a particular interest in adaptive reuse and the integration of historic fabric within modern urban environments. A strong advocate for preservation—especially mid-century Modern architecture—Rama approaches her work with a commitment to sustainability, cultural stewardship, and extending the relevance of historic structures for today’s communities.
