361 Broadway
361 Broadway on the corner of Broadway and Franklin is called The Cast Iron House. It was designed in the Italiante style by W. Wheeler Smith for James S. White and built in 1881. The building was designated a New York City landmark on July 27, 1982, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 15, 1983.
Allen Metals was hired to do emergency stabilization, removal, restoration and replication of the cast iron façade, installation, and painting of cast iron parts of the six-story building. Custom rehabilitation of historic vault lights, panels and stairs.
