Project Description
Removal and documentation of 3 remaining bays of decorative cast iron at ground level. Allen Metals was responsible for recreating all missing cast elements by utilizing historic drawings and photographs. All modeling, sculpting, pattern work, castings, fabrication, and finishing by AAM. Installation of both the new and restored cast material at 22 storefront bays on both Grand River and Washington Boulevard facades. In addition, the Washington Boulevard main entrance was stripped, repaired, and painted onsite. This work included both the interior main entrance window and the coffered vestibule ceiling.
