Kate Allen
Kate has enjoyed a distinguished career in restoration and preservation of some of the most prestigious properties in America. She succeeds her father, John Allen, as President of Allen Architectural Metals and is now a principal shareholder of the firm. During her twenty year career she has held operating roles as Project Manager, Vice President and now President. In addition, Kate is a Guest Lecturer at Pratt Institute of Technology, School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in Brooklyn, New York. She is also an active member of the Association of Preservation Technology and currently serves as Vice President of the Eastern Great Lakes Chapter.
Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University in New York City, NY and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from University of Alabama, Birmingham.
